Our razors are manufactured with the same Aerospace processes and in the same facility that produces components for the Mars Rover, International Space station, and production style work on Low Earth Orbit Satellites. This razor is designed and manufactured with extreme precision in mind.

While most of our competition builds in allowance for casting and painting, Henson Shaving required and achieved remarkable less than five ten-thousandth of an inch (0.0005) tolerance on critical dimensions through the machining and anodizing process.

This means your blade sits straight every time. The blade support creates the most accurate blade exposure on the market. Accurate blade exposure combined with our unique design means no vibration in the blade (or chatter). Chatter is what causes razor burn and in-grown hairs.

Henson AL13

Nice razor this is a very good easy to use shaver with the stock blades. I am getting only mild irritation from using just a standard wash soap, not specialized shave soaps. I don't mind the razor being light, I actually find it nice to use such a light piece. Compared to a vintage fat boy, this razor is very nimble. It's a good basic razor and I'd say worth investing because it's far cheaper than any cartridge razor and a lot better to use. For me it works and I have very little reason to change. I have very thick wiry stubble and so the RK blades are good for about 2 or three shaves, they are inexpensive enough no to care about. So for me this is a good carefree razor that just works. I don't need a fancy vintage blade, or a superior shaving straight razor, it's a utilitarian basic good razor. If you want a razor and no fuss, this is as good as it gets on economic scale. Cheap blades and upfront cost will be cheaper than a year of cartridges.

AL13 medium

This is my first DE safety razor. So far I love it. Took a couple shaves to get the hang of it. But I love it. I'm excited to try different blades. But so far I love this. I even had my wife try it and she's HOOKED. She absolutely loves it.

They weren't kidding

The tolerances are exactly as advertised. Performed a head shave & I didn't experience razor burn etc. Very light razor so that could be good or bad depending on user.
