The Rockwell 6C includes the following components:
   - Handle with knurled grip
   - 3 reversible base plates providing sizes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6
   - Plate A: Sizes 1 and 3, Plate B: Sizes 2 and 4, Plate C: Sizes 5 and 6
   - Blade cap
   - 5 double-edge razor blades

Each base plate has a different blade gap on each side. Just flip the plate over to get a brand new shave.

Why Use an Adjustable Safety Razor Like the Rockwell 6C?

You have unique skin and facial hair, and your razor should reflect that. Cartridge razors and standard safety razors pretend that one size fits all when shaving, which leads to irritation and cuts. The adjustability of the Rockwell 6S allows you to find a smooth, comfortable, and close shave every day, no matter what the condition of your skin or the length and thickness of your facial hair.

The Rockwell 6C provides six levels of adjustability, to ensure any and every man can redefine the closeness, smoothness, and comfort of their shave. These six levels refer to the space between the blade and the razor. Lower levels are great for men with finer facial hair. Higher levels are best for men with coarser facial hair.

Why Shave with a Classic Safety Razor?

The single blade of a classic safety razor means that you can shave with the grain of your facial hair - irritation-free - and get a smooth shave much better and easier than cartridges can. Most men find shaving with a Rockwell 6S to be a calming experience, and the process of classic shaving to be more relaxing and ritualistic than shaving with cartridge razor. Double-edge razor blades are a fraction of the cost of cartridge razors.4tall.jpg

    Good Shaver

I got the Rockwell 6C as I thought it would be a nice addition to my growing collection of DE razors. I like the plate system and have found the 4 with an Accutec blade is a nice and easy shave for daily use without any blade feel or chatter. I wish I had spent the extra money for the S, but that is another story. I do like that fact that after a weekend of sloth, I can go to a 5/6 plate and get through the scruff a bit more quickly. I'll be getting an Oliworks multi-plate razor soon and am interested in the comparison. Any chance Razor Emporium will start carrying them, since they are another Arizona manufacturer, Matt?

Highly Recommended - Beginner or Seasoned shaver

The Rockwell 6c is an excellent DE Razor for anyone and great to have in your kit. It is excellent to travel with and is well balanced and a nice weight. Their guide to settings is excellent and as I don't shave everyday it is nice to swape out plates when I need to or just leave it for the reguar shave.

Got this to determine my aggressiveness

I wasn't sure where I was on the spectrum for aggressiveness, so I went with this since it is pretty popular. Right now 3 seems to be the best thus far. Last time I used a safety razor was in the military in the early 90s, and I can't remember the brand they carried at the PX. I stopped with the cartridge razors probably 20 years ago now because they just cause ingrown hair after ingrown hair and was doing the stubble thing. My stubble annoyance was my necklace getting caught up in neck hairs, and that freaking hurts! No more, 3 passes and it's super smooth.

    Good shave.

I have a Parker variant open comb and it’s good I think the Rockwell is just a little better. I don’t know if my next razor will be a Rex or the Rockwell 6s. Still straight razor shave some, just a hassle stropping after every use. It’s a rabbit hole though. Wish there was a forum on this sight. Anyway love the razor. No problems with the fit for me.
