The Page Provides

The Rex Page is a nice addition to my collection. When I found out that the Rex brand was part of the RE family, I decided to pick one up to help support the videos and work that Matt has given to us in the wet shave community. As I like lightweight aluminium DE razors, I thought I'd give the new Page a shot. I was not dissappointed. It is part of my weekly stable of razors and have been testing blades in it since it showed up and it seems to like an aggressive blade since it has a milder gap and exposure. over all a very nice razor.

REX PAGE JET BLACK

I never shave twice in a row with the same razor. I have shaved the last three times with this razor. I really like this, Page. It is very forgiving. It is mild but that's what I love about it. Great job Matt and crew. can't wait for my next shave!

Rex Page

Razor Emporium receives five stars--I have purchased razors, blades, and other items, and I have always been satisfied with the shipping and product quality. The Rex page is a nice-looking razor that shaves pretty well. However, I find loading the blades isn't as smooth as most of my other three-piece razors. I think the lightness of the aluminum and the way the two "slots" insert into the blade are a little loose. If I do not have an iron clamp or a grip when screwing the handle to the top cap and base plate, the blade can pop out and even turn sideways. I need to handle it with extra care, comparatively. I have two other aluminum 3-piece razors and do not have the same issue. It provides a decent shave, and I am happy to see another American-made razor at a good price point.
