REX PAGE JET BLACK

I never shave twice in a row with the same razor. I have shaved the last three times with this razor. I really like this, Page. It is very forgiving. It is mild but that's what I love about it. Great job Matt and crew. can't wait for my next shave!

Rex Page

Razor Emporium receives five stars--I have purchased razors, blades, and other items, and I have always been satisfied with the shipping and product quality. The Rex page is a nice-looking razor that shaves pretty well. However, I find loading the blades isn't as smooth as most of my other three-piece razors. I think the lightness of the aluminum and the way the two "slots" insert into the blade are a little loose. If I do not have an iron clamp or a grip when screwing the handle to the top cap and base plate, the blade can pop out and even turn sideways. I need to handle it with extra care, comparatively. I have two other aluminum 3-piece razors and do not have the same issue. It provides a decent shave, and I am happy to see another American-made razor at a good price point.

Rex Page gives a mild, no-nonsense shave every time

The Page is a good razor for someone new to wet shaving or as daily driver for experienced shavers. It would also be great as a travel razor. The comparison Matt gives in his video to shaves from a Gillette Tech are spot on - mild, smooth and efficient. After using this razor several times since purchasing it, I know that I can get a good, no-nonsense, irritation-free shave with the Page. This is my first Rex razor purchase and I have to say that I was somewhat disappointed with the fit and finish. The razor looks good from a design standpoint, but the anodizing on mine looks like it has a slight smear on the bottom edge of the handle. It does not affect the functionality so I didn’t want to hassle with exchanging it. The anodizing on the Page has a matte finish which gives it good grip with wet hands, but also causes it to feel draggy on the face compared to a stainless razor. I do have 3 other anodized aluminum razors and they are all like that to some degree, with this one being the most draggy. I don’t want to sound too negative about this razor because I am glad that I bought it and will be using it regularly. Additionally, I very much appreciate that it is 100% Made in the USA and I feel it is a good value for the price. I just wanted to give an honest review of my experience with it.
