This is my first actual shave soap, I’m used to using Gillette’s spray can, easy to make a lather, and I used a 10 dollar brush off of Amazon and it worked great, lots of product, and a smother feeling shave compared to spray cream. It also has a good scent

I received your new King R shaving soap expecting it to be like most of the artisan soaps that I purchased over the years, rating somewhere between 3 and 4; acceptable but not exceptional. I anticipated King R would be good but didn't realize it would be that good! I would rate it as a solid 5+, actually a gold standard. There are very few shaving soaps that I have used over the last 60 years of wet shaving I could put in that category. The fragrance and performance are outstanding. It would be a travesty if this soap was not a permanent offering.

I’m new to wet shaving and I decided to grab as many sample soaps I could get my hands on so that I can gravitate toward scents that I like. In addition to the 20+ samples I took a gamble on two 4oz soaps (a Sandalwood because it is one of the most popular scents in soaps; and the King R. Emporium because it had 30+ reviews which were almost all 5 stars and each one echoed that this scent /soap is amazing). I too will be another 5 star review which will echo how amazing this soap and scent is. I continue to come back to this soap time and time again. The scent lingers all day and keeps me in a positive mood. My wife and kids all love this scent and it is by far the soap I have bragged about and shown off to my friends. I truly hope that they keep this scent around.

As most wet shavers, I've accumulated many different soaps from various vendors over the years. Doing my best to narrow down to my favorites, it left me with only 3 mainstays. King R. Emporium is one of those soaps. One of my favorite scents, I always make sure I have the soap, aftershave, and star jelly on hand at all times. The story is what got me to buy the first tub, the results/scent is what got me to stay with it. I love this stuff! I would highly recommend it to anyone on the fence. I'm sure you won't regret it.
