Excellent blade for mild or med razors if you want to increase the efficiency

I received these as they were included with a razor I had purchased while in Japan, I had read the reviews about how these were on par with the sharpness of Feathers, which was not unwarranted advice. I find them extremely sharp, but a bit thinner than the Feathers, I only use them twice before tossing them, and when I have several days growth to remove with a Rockwell 6S or T2 and I'm looking forward to utilizing them in an Ambassador.

Kai DE blades are quite sharp and give a decent shave. The only weak point is it seems to take about 2 shaves per edge before it smoothes out to a pleasant feel. My razor only uses one edge so it is easier to keep track of that count per edge. I wanted to try these out of curiosity and find that there are others that I prefer over these. Your results can vary since every face, beard and blade holder will add variables.

Very good blade, not as sharp as the Feather blades, but very accurate and smooth. If you don't need the sharpest blades that's a good choice. For me I've tried several blades. It's the same category like Perma Sharp or Treet Carbon but not hat level like Feather's first shave.
