I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve heard it’s not aggressive enough, doesn’t give a good shave, it’s a mild beginner razor. I’ve also heard it’s the perfect razor, great for beginners, idiot proof. I’ve found for me most of those descriptions were wrong. I do really like the razor. Out of the box I got a perfect shave using Perma Sharp blades. There is just something about aluminum razors I don’t enjoy. I think it’s the combination of weight, sound, and feel. No knocks for that, it just seems to be a preference. This is still one of my favorites and I will be looking to get it in stainless steel. It did take three passes and I couple of additional spots to go for a fourth but there was no agitation or aggravated skin. This is the first aluminum razors that I’ve used and my skin wasn’t inflamed. I’m a twice a day shaver when I don’t have a crazy beard and this razor gives a pleasant shave. This is definitely a keeper and in my weekly rotation. Its no Rockwell 6s but its nice in a different way.

I've shaved 3 times now with my new Henson AL13 Aggressive shaver and I am extremely pleased with the product design, quality and functionality. I've had no nicks or cuts whatsoever, and the shave has been close, comfortable and smooth. This is my razor for the long term. Great product!

This razor combined with a Silver Blue or Permasharp blade is just incredible. The best razor I have ever used.
