Every time I encounter an old ball handle Gillette razor in the wild, it's the same old, sad story. The handle is split, sometimes so egregiously that the pieces are separating, making the razor pretty much worthless for it's intended purpose. Razor Emporium to the rescue! I used the revamp service for the cap and plate of a well-worn razor and ordered a new handle to go with it. Now I have a pristine, display-worthy, 100-year-old razor that looks as good or better than the day it left the factory. I am very pleased with the results.

I got this handle for my 1918 US Army Gillette head. It is a perfect fit. It weighs the same as other Gillette ball end handles, but it is better made. Excellent workmanship. The knurling is deep, but not too deep. I have used it with my Stahly, New, and OT heads.

I purchased this to replace a handle on my 1920 Open Comb Gillette Head. It is a better quality than the original and heavier also which helps in giving a better shave overall.

Not that much heavier than the Gillette handle its modeled after. knurling is superb. Does no slip. Ballance is spot on. Not an exact duplicate. But, an appropriate homage to the original. Highly recommended for the Old Type, New, and Tech heads that need a new handle.
