I could believe that they made a replica of the Gillette ball end I love the style of it and it feels great and looks great I use it on a safety razor head that I ordered on amazon that was a head separated from the handle and I tried it the Gillette ball end and hits perfectly I used on the razor I use every time I shave the only downside is not the handle but it the picture it showed the head with the handle that look like the 1918 I think Gillette ball end razor with the open comb I hope they had the head I would had a replica of the vintage razor of the 1918 that had a better process metal on it but no but overall the handle work great I love it and will continue to use it I give this handle 5 stars.

I bought this handle in brass as a backup handle for my 1930s Gillette ball end razor. The workmanship is great and the handle fits my ball end perfectly. The replica handle looks almost identical to the original. Customer service was great. The handle arrived in just 3 days after placing my order.

I have a Gillette New razor (patent Jan 23, 1920) with small cracks at both ends of the handle. I can shave with it, but the top will pop out if the handle of I'm not careful. So I bought the replica handle as a replacement. The original razor weighs 1.9 grams assembled and 2 grams assembled with the replica handle. Compared to the original the replica has a balance point slightly higher up the handle than the original. The original handle's ball end is heavier, hence the different balance point, it is also slightly wider and shorter than the replica's ball end. The replica handle is easier to grip because of the deeper kneeling. The shave is excellent. It feels very similar to the original. Good weight and balance to the razor and very comfortable in the hand. A pleasure to use!

I bought an Edwin Jagger 3one6 with the blue handle. Pretty, but slippery when wet. This handle solves that problem. Well made. I heartily endorse this handle.
