Just Amazing!

Imagine using a razor as old as you are that is just like the day that it was made! Shaving is now more of an event than a chore and this razor makes it such a pleasure. There is obvious attention to detail and the final product is just amazing. Thank you Matt.

Better than new

I couldn't be more pleased with my revamped Fatboy. I got the rhodium plating, and it came to me looking just about factory perfect. Because it comes from '59, there are a few tiny mars in the knurling (plating won't fix that). The razor works perfectly in all functional aspects. The blade alignment is spot-on, and it shaves great. The plating is super bright and even. It's beautiful. Worth every penny.

Perfect

The razor that they picked didn't have any gouges or deep scrapes so the final result was flawless. All the mechanics were working perfectly, even the audible click from the little red catch when the adjuster dial is turned so the spring is intact too. The rhodium plating was just beautiful and it truly is a mirror finish. Over all I feel like it is in better condition than the day it was manufactured 57 years ago. I cannot think of one thing about the razor I would want to change. Very satisfied.

All I can say is, "WOW".

Ordered June 6th, received June 30th. Not to shabby considering the process. What I got is one bad-ass 60 year old Gillette FatBoy in Rhodium finish in spectacular condition. Anyone that says Rhodium isn't a mirror finish is wrong. This razor is shiny and flawless in every way. BTW it's an aggressive shave at any setting so watch your self. Now it's a matter of pairing it with the right blade. Used Personna for first outa box shave. Got a near BBS shave. Given a little practice it will only get better.
