Description

The bottom plate comprises the Tatara “T” slots to guide the blade and a hole in the middle of the plate configured to receive the cap and engage with the handle.

Due to the geometry between the top cap and the bottom plate, when the razor is assembled, the blade will deform and achieve a certain blade angle.

The closed comb plate is our smoothest option and the most popular. It is designed with small grooves along the edges of the plate giving less blade exposure to the skin.

Great complimen to the open comb guard plate.

Great complement to the open comb guard plate. I intend to use the closed comb when I have to shave more frequently during the week. I have been hooked on my Tatara open comb razor for the last couple of months and performed my 2nd shave this past week with the closed comb plate. It is perfect for when I have to do 3 or more shaves a week.
