I ordered this to try out shaving with a straight razor and I have to say that this was a very good introduction! I got the cheapest kit mainly for budget reasons but it still came with multiple things that made the first experience with an actual straight razor (I used a shavette before) really enjoyable. Would highly recommend

Matt's videos described the kit perfectly, as well as how to do my first straight razor shave without cutting my neck. Once you've got a couple of shaves done, immediately order more Proraso. You won't get more than three or four shaves out of the sample kit.

Great beginners kit. Love the way the razor cuts, I'm still a little slow with it taking my time to get use to using it. The after shave has a great feel and manly odor.... reminds me of my Dad's after shave.

Other straight razors online aren’t shave ready, low quality, and not in a kit that has everything you need for a proper shave for a great price. I recently got into straight razors and now I’m restoring a few and learning to hone them but my first great straight razor was in this set.
