Parker razor was great as my first DE razor. Nice, easy to use design. A very good array of blades was included in the kit as well. Shaving bowl is a little small. Was surprised by the good quality of Arko shave cream. Overall, a good kit to get!

I never have used a safety razor before, so this being a new experience I wanted to get something with decent quality. After using all of the blades included (and receiving some first-time nicks!) I have to say that it has proved to be helping me to get a better shave while keeping my neck hairs from ingrowing so much. The whole kit has proved to work well, and I have no complaints. In fact, I would recommend this product for just the customer service I received. A few hours after I ordered, I received a kind phone call from one of the employees at Razor Emporium to let me know that she noticed that the lather bowl I ordered wasn't available. She addressed me by name, and I was surprised that she called while boxing my order! Again, excellent customer service - will definitely continue to use razor emporium.

Just got into the wet shave world and found this kit. I upgraded to the Murkur 34c razor, and it has been amazing. The Proraso products are ok. I went with the white label which was more of a "clean" smell vs the green label that has more fragrance. The shave soap creates a good lather which is awesome! I liked getting the various blade samples too, it helped me choose which ones to get on a regular basis. Overall good value and gives a beginner like me a starting point.
