Rex platinum double edged blades

Paired with an adjustable Gillette FatBoy Razor, and 2024 Home for the Holidays shave soap. The Rex Platinum blade gave a smooth one pass shave and a wonderful gingerbread fragrance. Both appealing to myself and my wife. I did not go passed the third positing and quickly went back to the second positing for my thickness of beard. Most of my shave was on the first position and still offered me a smooth, comfortable shave.

REX Platinum razor blades

Extremely sharp and unforgiving.

These are great blades, but they are extremely and unforgiving. Folks with sensitive watch out. I usually start with 5-6 on my Konsul, not with these blades- had to go down to 2-3 after few nicks. You really cannot be distracted with these, if you go 5-6 on your ambassador / konsul- you will get straight razor vibes 100%. They are sharper than the feather ones. Too aggressive and sharp for my taste, but they are definitely high quality blades.

Rex razor blades.

These blades are exceptional. Paired it with a Fatip OC, just fantastic. Buttery smooth!
