It's a classic looking razor with a nice weight. The handle is super grippy with it's deep knurling. The slim head makes for easy downward strokes under your nose and I found it to be easier for detailing my sideburns. This razor may have been designed from a Gibbs but I would compare it to a Gillette fat boy that is heavier, smaller head, more durable, and more adjustable. You may have a bit of sticker shock as did I, but I put some faith in Razor Emporium because they know razors. I don't regret the purchase at all. It's well built and I think it shaves wonderfully.

The Rex Adjustable is an excellently engineered and well executed product. I have been using Gillette razors revamped by Razor Emporium for 3 plus years on a daily basis. The Rex felt right on the first shave and has only gotten better as the week has gone forward. The Rex has been the only current production razor that I've found as satisfying to use as my revamped Fatboy, Slim and Super Speed. The Rex is a high quality product designed, engineered and manufactured in the US. I have already recommended the Rex to friends.

Just love the precise adjustments which are so easy and safe to do even with wet hands...most of the time i use 2 or even 3 razors to get my shave but now this one does it all...very easy to clean and load and unlike the FUTUR you will not slice your thumb adjusting when wet.Nicely made..just the perfect size and weight and is blade friendly....perfect alignment and constant exposure and gap...really a fun tool to use and for the first time in years I,m just using the same razor for every shave....really wanted to give this a serious test...now I can,t put in away....love the look and handle knurling....for me non slip...blade does lock down on the pins but no issue once you get used to it and/or use a nail file to lift the blade ends when removing. So all in all I am very pleased .

I am the proud owner of # 91. I own 5 razors, 3 of which are American made. Some are disappointed that the razor is not polished. I do not care, that makes this razor different form my other razors, It looks good and has a great feel in my hand Pros: The razor can be adjusted w/o taking apart, or removing this so that can move..so on. Its simple and straight fwd. It is balanced very well, almost perfect No blade overhang. The sides of the blade are not exposed. A big plus. Very easy to control, and shave lip area. Except for one little red dot nothing is painted, it is all laser etched The dials and mechanics perform nicely. Nothing is to stiff nor loose. Perfectly done. The head is very slim. Blades are easy to replace and alignment is DEAD ON! No blade aligning is needed. Drop it in, secure it, tighten head and done. Cons: Post office delivered to wrong house. A neighbor few houses down brought it to me. The corners and edges of the head are a little aggressive, they are pointy and they are not rounded out. However, that does make this razor different from my others, just gonna take some getting use to is all. I definitely know this razor is on my face even on 1. I mean it is smooth but compared to my Fatboy this is on the aggressive side IMO. Again not a bad thing but different. My Fatboy on 6 with a Wilkinson Sword or Gillette 7 O'clock Super Stainless is dangerously smooth with a good soap. This razor has a nice solid hum to it and although it is smooth, you know it is there. Totally different feel on the face than a Fatboy. And....the price. Is it worth it? I can't say, markets determine that. I will say that at the price point that I paid I am very happy with my purchase and believe that the Rex brand will establish a cult like following in the years to come.
