The tallow-based shave soap is more like a "croap" than either a cream or a soap. Even with a Rex blade on its 4th tour of duty in my Rex Ambassador, the lather provided excellent cushioning for the razor to cut through 3 days of stubble effortlessly. The after shave splash was invigorating and had some staying power throughout the day. The Eau De Parfum provided the perfect finishing touch. I found myself channeling Starsky and Hutch, the Steve Miller Band, and a green 1973 Dodge Charger. The 1977 collection is imaginative, evocative, and downright fun. An excellent shave!

This shaving kit is the best that I've tried from multiple different brands. The shaving cream is so nice and creamy, the aftershave splash is great and not too strong, and the aftershave balm is amazing and so moisturizing. The scent is amazing as well, my one and only complaint about the product is that the scent strength is not very strong at all. I applied all of it before going to church one night and I asked a buddy if he could smell my new cologne. He said he couldn't pick it up. If that problem were fixed this kits would be a 6/5! That being said I still plan on buying it again.
