Personna blades are platinum chrome coated and provide a very smooth shave. This is the legendary Red Pack Personna Blades! Red Personna blades are also very smooth cutters and appeal widely to men with sensitive to normal skin. The edge on the Personna, while not quite as sharp as other blades, still provides a comfortable shave without any excessive pulling or irritation. The edge on the Personna is very much on par with the Derby, working well for average beards, but still not suitable for men with heavier beard growth.

I love these blades

These are my go to blades for everyday shaving - granted, these are the sharpest of the lot that I ordered with my first DE Safety razor that I ordered from this website... actually I ordered these and the POLSILVER SUPER IRIDIUM that are both '4-razor' on the sharpness scale on these site. To tell the truth I think they are both on par when it comes to sharpness and smoothness. Now if you compare the costs for the Personna and the Polsilver, Personna comes out being the better value. I tend to get about 4 to 5 smooth shaves with these per blade. Love them.

best for me so far

I've used these for a couple of years now. In fact the were the first multipacks I purchased after starting to shave with a de razor. Not the sharpest but the work for me.
