I wanted to try the lab blies since everyone has raved about them. Unfortunately for my skin, i don't see the attraction. I didn't get a smooth shave from them. I got a bit of irritation from each blade. Luckily i got a sample pack, and tried them, instead of following the hype train. YMMV.

These are my go to blades. Sharp, smooth, affordable, and MADE IN THE USA. These also do not have the glue/wax dots on the blade, which for some reason drive me bonkers.

I really do love these blades. They are smooth and plenty sharp. I’m using a Merkur 34c. I’m so glad I made the switch.

Best blade I've used yet. I only started shaving with DE/safety razor about two years ago after two decades of using disposable "mach" razors and similar. I tried about 30 different blades and settled on Gillette Platinum and Gillette 7 O'Clock Green, rotating between the two for comfort. The shaves weren't awful but they also weren't necessarily the best - they were the best I'd found with a DE blade though. I saw a video Matt posted on this blade and was intrigued because I hadn't used it yet. I bought the Personna and all I can say is WOW! The blade glides smoother and easier, the shave is closer with less pressure, and my face doesn't feel "sore" or irritated after shaving. I used to get the occasional nick every few weeks, but honestly not a single one in the 6 weeks I've been using these. Every shave has been better and each blade lasts for more shaves. I was changing about every 4-6 shaves before, now I'm going about 10 shaves before I consider it. I bought the 100 pack! Thanks Matt!
