I ordered my Slim Adjustable with the 24K gold plating. It arrived in prefect condition. In this case, "perfect" is not relative. There were no observable flaws in the finish, and no mars or faults with the underlying razor, even though it dated from the 1960s. The depth and finish of the gold plate was superb, and I can't imagine that these razors looked any better coming brand-new from the factory. Function of all the moving parts was smooth and tight. The blade gap was spot on. Upon shaving with this razor, it performed in an ideal manner, giving me a great shave. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

I wanted a1963 Gillette Slim adjustable manufactured in the second quarter in a rhodium finish. This is exactly what I received. There finish is fantastic and the mechanism works very smoothly. All I need to do is to get used to an adjustable again. I used to use one in the 1960s and early 70s before I switched to a Gillette Track I.

Last fall I bought a Gillette Slim Adjustable on the big international auction site. Till now it has been my daily shaver. Feels ok but it has its quirks. A couple of moths ago, after watching some YouTube videos I got to know of Razor Emporium. Shortly after I ordered a ready to order nickel plated Slim Adjustable. This one is fantastic when it comes to finish and how the mechanics on it works. Plating and polish are top notch! Opening and closing of the razor works great. No looseness.
