I only shave a couple times a week using Feather blades for their sharpness, but always deal with razor burn due to making 3 passes. Tried the Gillette Platinum after a recommendation, and I'm hooked! While not quite as sharp as the Feathers, I get a much more comfortable shave with little or no burn. This is a great blade! The price is right here at Razor Emporium so I stocked up.

My opinion these are the best blades on the market. I've tried all the the brand names. These don't nick or burn but give a good, close shave. I also get more shaves per blade with the Gillette, making them a great value. Toss the rest and keep the best.

Been more than a few years since I left the insanty of those hyper-expensive, too-many-blades-to-count disposables. Those corporations push adverts making their razors seem more highly engineered than the space shuttle - Just so they can pull more $ out of your wallet. On to the sensibility on the safety razor. And of all the blades I've tried the Gillette Platinum takes the cake on sharpness, durability and cost. Seems they're getting tougher to find so glad I found The Razor Emporium. Fast shipping, too. These blades provide for a very smooth, and comfortable shave in my Merkur 37c. No snags, pulls, just smooth as a baby's butt. Love these blades, they are a must try for any wet shaver.
