I am fairly new to the wet shaving world, but I thought I would take the plunge and see if the DE Razor rabbit hole was as deep as the fountain pen rabbit hole I found myself in. I should have paid more attention to the more experienced miners and brought a lamp. There are definitely some shiny things to grab! I have never had a Gillette Fat Boy before, so I have nothing to compare the effects of the Razor Emporiums Revamp Service to the original craft, but I could not have been more pleased with the fit and finish. This is more than a razor, it is simply a future heirloom you get to play with now. It is stunning in its detailing and strikes a fine balance between what was and what could be in design. Great Job and Kudos to Matt and the team at RE.

I purchased a pre-restored Fatboy prospectors edition razor. It came about three weeks after ordering it but I have to tell you this razor probably never looked better coming off the assembly line. It is beautiful, two-tone rhodium, and 24 karat gold. Really nice attention to detail and this would be a beautiful gift for anybody or even a treat for yourself. Again, it looks better than new.
