I ordered the Fatboy and have been waiting for it now for 5 months. I ordered it in May and it was despatched in September by postal service despite my request to use a first class courier service (against additional payment of course). The request was confirmed but it was not followed up on. As a consequence I lost the money that I paid for the fatboy and as I never the razor. At first when I wanted to place the order I was very impressed with the speed of reply. It was on a Saturday and virtually immediately got a reply from the great Mr Matt himself. Once the order was placed replies and updates on the progress were scarce and despite emails that I sent in regards to "non receipt" of the razor, I never received a reply. I cant comment on the quality of the razor because I never received it, but because of this reason and the fact that I find the after sales follow up and replies miserable, I will never place any orders with this company and can't recommend them to anyone.

Amazing razor and amazing customer service!

Had my first shave with it roadway. It was nice. Used setting 3 and will try a higher setting later hoping for a smoother result in less passes. It looks great, like new, still a bit disappointed because the razor was send in a little plastic bag instead of its original case. Taking in account that I payed almost 300 dollars and 73 euro taxes fee it was my assumption that a case was included. It was not mentioned during the order but it would have been a nice gesture, also because of the long delay, to get one or offered one.

Bottom Line Up Front, the do outstanding work, my Fat Boy looks great. Razor Emporium's work is pricey, but well worth the expense. I appreciated the progress updates. I am a return customer, I purchased a revamped Tech from them and had a tune-up on a Black Beauty Adjustable. In the near future I will have them tune-up a Slim Adjustable. The new, old stock 1957 Super-Speed I purchased is spectacular.
