Feather Blades - depends on the razor and your face!

Feather is sharp, but I always found them a bit irritating and short-lived (three shaves max) when used in a variety of closed and open comb razors from Merkur and Muhle. (I ended up choosing Astra as the best all-rounder for cut, comfort, and durability). I was recently gifted a Rex Envoy, and I tried the Feather in it. Completely different experience! Such a smooth and comfortable shave! Can't speak to the durability yet, but after four shaves there's been no noticable difference.

Feather Blades

The first shave is a bit aggressive, but the second through fifth shaves are perfect. I'm sure you could go past 6 shaves with these blades.

Feather hi standard double edge razor blades

I have a medium thick whiskers and I get a close shave with my safety razor. Also, does great with my Shavette. I would recommend these blades, although everyone’s beard is different. Good luck and happy shaving.
