Strop is as described and used in his video, regarding the use of strops. The strop is very useful for training for new users, before they make a more significant purchase. However it size and material does make it a nice travel strop. Customer Service was excellent.

This thing is very high quality. Its inexpensive but not cheap. Works great and a just have for beginner straight shavers!

OK; I have to admit that I wish I would have just splurged on the full size strop. Does this small one work? Heck yes. It will do the job. I just want to be able to strop without having to cross strop making sure that I get the full blade in one sweep/stroke. My fear is that if I don't cross sweep well enough then I will not get an even alignment. I will be upgrading to the full size when money is in hand. I love the fact that these are made right in the shop in Phoenix.
